July 25 Freezed in TokyoI thought that Tokyo should be in the summar like Beijing or other North China Cities. Unfotunately it’s not. Last Saturday I was even almost freezed in the Hilton Room. I went back hotel at about 12 PM and too tired even to take the shower. After the call with my gf for several minutes I went to bed immediately. When I wake up at about 7, I feel like the sloth in the ace age, too cold but too lazy to find out what’s going on. I just wrap myself tighter and slept for another 2 hours. When I check out the air conditioner at the morning, I found out that they set it at 17oC. Donot they say Japanese is good at saving energy?
The first day when I went to work at XXX Bank, I found lots of White and Black peple sitting beside me, I was supprised that Japanese are so wealthy, “en, Great to have foreigner colleagues to learn English! :)”. I heard their talk with each other, and they are truly native speakers. But soon later, I was even more shocked when I heard they speak fluent Japanese (better than my English) with Japanese people. It’s an unbelievable experience hearing someone speaking Japanese using RAP(R&B?) voice.
Yesterday I went to Ginza, and roamed around there for about 3 hours. Actually it’s much like Nanjing Road in Shanghai, not too much things suprising me. The only one supprised me is that I saw a long queue for a small lottery station. Do they Tokyo people love this much? I found a Sushi restaurant at the very North end of the road, named Ganko. It’s not expensive, maybe I did not order much, just 1200 Yen for 8 pieces of Sushi. The surroundings are absolutely best, at least to me. A nice lady wearing Traditionaly Kimono greeted me with decent Janpanese maner. The feeling is also like when I went to a Shanghai Restaurant in WanXiangcheng of Shenzhen. The old Shanghai gentlement serves by fluent English while keeping Shanghai style.
The Tenno’s Imperial Palace was not open to pulic. I walked around the outskirt area and passed by a small park. It’s lovely, you can’t see that many Birds (I saw only Crows by many others) and cicada in China’s park. In the park, unless you saw the top of some skycrappers, you will feel totally in a peaceful forest.
That's some words from last week :), not now. I am melted in Shenzhen's 35C those days. |
